Packaging Oscar for Betapack and Sources Alma

The ceremony for the 2021 edition took place on November 29.
In order to combat littering, the European directive on single-use plastics (Sup) stipulates that all containers up to three liters must have a cap integral with the neck of the bottle from July 2024. The Inova 26 Déviss’Clic cap more than meets the specifications demanded by this European legislation: strength, resistance, reliability of the hinged fastening function with 180-degree locking and safety during the use phase. Developed by Betapack for Sources Alma, a pioneer in these developments with the Cristaline valve, the screw cap is suitable for carbonated beverages. The jury praised the obvious functionality of this highly technical development. A new gesture is established.
Organized by Infopro Digital, publisher of Emballages Magazine and Plastiques & Caoutchoucs Magazine, the Packaging Oscar is a competition open to suppliers, equipment manufacturers and brands. Betapack and Sources Alma were competing in the “functional use” section of the “consumer” category.
